Dover Fisheries is a major abalone producer located in South Australia. Dover Fisheries source abalone not only from South Australia, but also from interstate and overseas.

Dover Fisheries process and supplies abalone as canned, frozen and heat sterilised vacuum packs. Abalone shells, abalone powder and other abalone by-products are also supplied. The majority of the production is exported to overseas markets, mainly Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, China, Malaysia, as well as North America and Europe.

To produce abalone of the best possible quality is one of Dover’s main objectives. Dover Fisheries’s cannery is approved by Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) to AQA standard and is also certified under ISO9002. The cannery is also approved by US Food and Drug Administration, FDA and EU Accreditation.

Dover’s products are exported under the brand names: Dover, Emperor, Mermaid, Golden, Golden Horse and King Loong. Dover also accepts customised labels. Dover Fisheries offer abalone products in a very large range, various abalone species, sizes and grades are available. Our packaging is well designed to offer very good protection of the goods.
