Event: Asia Pacific Symposium on Entrepreneurship & Innovation - Sydney

Description: The University of Sydney will present its first Asia Pacific Symposium on Entrepreneurship & Innovation in April 2009. The theme of the inaugural Symposium is "New thinking and practice."

The purpose of this Symposium is to involve academia, industry and policymakers, in bringing together theory and practice on entrepreneurship and innovation.  Particular emphasis is placed on international dimensions within the Asia Pacific region. The Symposium is presented as a joint initiative of the International Entrepreneurship Research Group in the Faculty of Economics and Business and the United States Studies Centre.

It involves academics, practitioners and policymakers operating in the region, especially those in Australia and the US. Manuscripts are sought that challenge and advance existing theories and perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship. We are seeking academic papers, industry perspectives and case studies.
